I've always been a big fan of Landseer's portrait of Eos, Prince Albert's greyhound.

Not Victorian, but within the purview of NINES:
I like early American portraiture. John Brewster, Jr., was a deaf artist in early America who sometimes included pet birds in his portraits. They're kind of sweet.
