Romanticism: A Guided Tour of NINES Resources

NINES aggregates six major resources with an emphasis on Romanticism: The Blake Archive, The Poetess Archive, British Women Romantic Poets, Romantic Circles, Romanticism and Victorianism on the Net, and an edition of Sir Walter Scott's The Lay of the Last Minstrel.

The Blake Archive
One of the very first resources to become part of NINES, The Blake Archive remains one of the most extensive and dynamic scholarly projects online. Launched in 1996, it is a hypermedia archive dedicated to making available the prints, paintings and poems of William Blake (1757-1827).

Aggregated in September of 2006, the British Women Romantic Poets project is a digital initiative of the UC Davis General Library. It is a scholarly archive of hundreds of freely-available poems by British and Irish women written (not necessarily published) between 1789 and 1832, drawn from the UC, Davis Library's Kohler Collection of British Poetry.
