A primary function of NINES is to aggregate large bodies of 19th-century material (primary and secondary resources) and provide access to them through a common interface for search and faceted browsing, and for collection and annotation by users. This means that materials will be easily integrated into our toolset and available for comparison through Juxta, transformation through Ivanhoe, and folksonomy tagging and repurposing through Collex.
